Not a dry eye in the house! Well done to our Y6 leavers who have been a pleasure to have in our school and will be dearly missed. Their assembly today was full of laughs, tears and jelly beans out of birds' bottoms!!! Good luck in your new schools.

Y1/2 CLEAN FOR THE QUEEN
Year 1 and 2 Residential
Year 3 and 4's Pizza Enterprise!
What a fantastic morning the Year 3 and 4's had at their Pizza Enterprise! The class have worked hard all week completing lots of problem solving in Maths to work out the amount of ingredients needed as well as the cost and much more! After making our delicious pizzas, we counted the money to find out our turnover (total amount of money) then subtracted our expenses (the ingredients) to find we had made £55.97 profit! This will go towards our 'Clean for the Queen' event in June to help clean up our local community.
We would like to say a big thank you to the Govenors who came to make a pizza with us, as well as Chatanooga in Frizington who kindly donated pizza boxes for us to take our pizza home in.
Year 6 End of SATs Treat
Well done to all our Year 6 pupils for all their hard work leading up to and during the SATs. As a treat they have been to McDonalds for their lunch and then spent the afternoon at Jump Nation.
Christmas Choir at the Co-op
This afternoon (15/12) the Christmas Choir sang at the Cleator Moor Co-op. They raised an amazing £110 which they are donating to the Cumbria Community Foundation to support the victims of the recent floods. Thanks to the Co-op for making us so welcome and everyone who helped and came to support us.
