Dear Parent / Carer

Harvest Festival Appeal:
As planned, we will be walking to St Paul’s Church tomorrow morning for Harvest Festival at 10.30 am as the weather is still looking ok for the morning.  As part of our commitment to support local communities, we would like to ask for any donations of tinned food produce (please see attached list from the North Lakes Foodbank).  We would be grateful if all contributions could be brought into School by no later than Tuesday next week please.

Year 6 parents: 

We are still looking for a parent volunteer to accompany the Year 6 children on their STEM science workshop visit this Friday afternoon leaving School at 1.10 pm.  Unfortunately, we do not have the staffing capacity in School and therefore unless we get a volunteer, the trip will be cancelled.  If you are able to help, please let us know as soon as possible.

Ofsted:

We would really like to take the time to let you know how wonderful your children were during last week’s Ofsted Inspection and how complimentary the Ofsted Inspectors were about the children’s behaviour and their attitude to learning.  They were an absolute credit to you all!  We would also like to say a huge thank you to parents for your support.  The Inspectors commented that your positive praise and support was overwhelming for the School -  for which we are truly grateful.   Thank you also to our staff for their commitment and continued hard work for our School.  Unfortunately, we are unable to share the outcome of the Inspection for 30 days but we are very pleased with the result - there were no surprises - and we will obviously continue to make our School the best that it can be.
