Here are a few notices / reminders as follows:

Bug Busting:

Since Covid, we have only had a few isolated cases of head lice in School but recently we seem to getting an outbreak of incidents.   In order to get on top of this, we are asking all parents to check their child’s hair this weekend please.  Here is some useful information from the NHS: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/head-lice-and-nits/

Year 3 / 4 U-Dance:

Please can we have costumes in by next Tuesday please.  If any parents need transport, please let us know.

Thursday 14^th March 2024 9.30 am to 2.30 pm:

We have 12 children attending the Happiness Ninja event at Whitehaven Academy.  We are still looking for a parent volunteer to attend – if you are able to help, please let us know.

Red Nose Day – Friday 15^th March 2024:

Just a reminder that we would like children to come into School dressed in red next Friday for Red Nose Day and donate £1 or a food item for the Foodbank please.

Friday 15^th March 2024 9.15 am to 12.00 noon - Year 3 / 4 Football at WLA:

We have 16 x Year 3 / 4 children attending a football tournament at West Lakes Academy next Friday morning.  We are looking for 2 parent volunteers to join us.
