Year 3/4 Dance
During Autumn Term Year 3/4 were focussing on their topic, The Stone Age. Here the children independently choreographed dances in groups, to convey ideas about the Stone Age.
Well done to our Year 5/6 team who took part in a netball tournament at WLA. They all played really well and worked hard as a team.
After an amazing first season on Street Tag, we are absolutely delighted to announce that we have achieved 3rd place!
Now we're ready for our team to continue to grow and work together to gain even more points.

PE and Healthy Lifestlyes at Frizington Primary
Our school provides a minumum of 2 hours of PE every week, as well as 10 minutes of fun fitness exercise twice a day, lunchtime activities and a variety of afterschool clubs.
At Frizington we work alongside sports coaches (Reds in the community & Gymnastics with Mrs Mason) to plan and deliver high quality P.E lessons for all year groups. They also run an after school session to help increase pupil participation in sporting activities.
Included in our sports facilities is a large sports hall, two large areas of playground as well as a substantial playing field.
Our school aims to promote a healthy lifestyle within breakfast club where children can enjoy a healthy choice of foods to help them start the day, as well as a 10 minute shake up activity that is part of the change for life scheme.
Children are also encouraged to use the salad bar at lunchtimes to ensure they have a balanced meal.
