People Matter
Our class had a terrific day out visiting Beatrix Potter World, then taking a boat ride to Brockhole!
All the children worked sooo hard to learn the routines. Despite our nerves, we had a fabulous time performing them with lots of other schools at Whitehaven Sports Centre. Miss McCullough was very proud!
Friday had arrived! Time for the children to present their wonderful finished projects to all the visiting adults and have a chat about what they'd learnt.
The reception and year ones had a great time on their bake-off morning which was based on The Gingerbread Man. Thanks to all the parents who came to help.
Didn't we have a lovely time the day we went to Muncaster! The weather was kind, the castle was welcoming, Santa was super and everybody enjoyed the day.
The reception and year 1 class have been learning all about Mexico. Here are some photographs of their Mexican Hat Dance and their mariachi band

Well done to the school council for organising our Wear it Red day. We rasied an amazing £184 which has been shared between Comic Relief and the British Heart Foundation.
A huge big thank you to FUNDS4Us for giving the school £1000 to develop the reading areas in the classes. They look amazing and the children can not wait to read their new books.
