Dear Parent / Carer

Christmas Performances:

As previously shared, the Christmas performance tickets will be on sale from Monday 27^th November 2023 – payment will need to be made via the School Hub and tickets collected from the School Office.  As usual, the performances are being split into three shows as follows:

• Monday 11^th December, Year 5 and 6 at 1.30 pm and 6.00 pm;
• Tuesday 12^th December, KS1 at 1.30 pm and 6.00 pm;
• Thursday 14^th December; Year 3 and 4 at 1.30 pm and 6.00 pm.

Please note that there will be NO late entry to these performances and everyone must be seated due to fire regulations.  We can only accommodate two tickets per family per show, including siblings (tickets must be presented at the door please).  Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate prams at the performance.  All tickets must be purchased by no later than Friday 1^st December.  If anybody has any access disabilities, please can you let us know beforehand.

Parent Governor Nominations: Closing date - Monday 27^th November 2023 at 12.00 noon

Reminder that the closing date for Parent Governor nominations is on Monday 27^th November at 12.00 noon.  Please note that we have not received any nominations to date.

Receptions walking to Church: Wednesday 29^th November 2023 at 1.15 pm

Miss Horner is still looking for one more adult volunteer to walk down to Church with the Receptions next Wednesday afternoon please.  If you are able to help, please let us know asap.

Year 3 / 4 Open Afternoon: Thursday 30^th November 2023 at 2.40 pm

Just a reminder that it is the Year 3 / 4 Open afternoon on the afternoon of Thursday 30^th November.  Please note that we can only allow access to one adult per child and no siblings (including older siblings).

Non-Uniform Day / or Christmas Jumper /or Christmas Outfit: Friday 1^st December 2023

As per the recent newsletter, we are holding a non-uniform / or Christmas Jumper / or Christmas dress-up day on Friday 1^st December and we are asking for donations of tombola / raffle prizes please for our forthcoming Christmas Fayre.

Year 1 / 2 Walk to Church / Around Village on Wednesday 6^th December 2023 from 9.30 am

As part of their history topic this term, Year 1 / 2’s will be walking down to Church and around the village to look at Frizington in the past and how it has changed.  We are looking for three adult volunteers to accompany us.  If you are able to help, please let us know.
